What would you highlight about Jardín San Pancho
Live in the trees in a high vibe neighborhood.
It was upstairs & under a tilapia roof, so like a very comfortable camping experience. The kitchen was adequate for short stove top cooking, the bed was large, the bathroom was OK, and I liked the privacy. The people were the best--the vibe was happy, relaxed and aware, maybe because of the nearness to the Pacific. I liked walking to the fish store, the Tuesday market, the butcher. I was not disappointed because you get what you pay for. It felt safe everywhere. The nearest beach is a 5 minute walk--San Pancho Beach, which is less crowded and very fine. It was my reason to go there.
The stairs were a challenge for an 80 year old and the roof sheds all over the unit continuously. However, that was part of the charm. It was impossible to carry up a large water supply so I took smaller jugs and filled them; I purchased a suction 'bomba' for the large water dispenser at the ferraria on the main drag. It's very low staffed so you're on your own when staying here--not all bad--I got inventive.

I had asked for extra night, said yes, then was forced out on double booking.
The only good feature was the bed.
The toilet leaked onto the floor, clean water. No towel rack, no side table. The lock wouldn't work and I was unsecured for the first day and night, requiring fix. No blanket, when requested, just extra sheet.
